Cause and Effect

"Create ideals only, give no thought to external conditions, make the world within beautiful and opulent and the world without will express and manifest the condition which you have within. You will come into a realization of your power to create ideas and these ideals will be projected into the world of effect"

Ever wonder why most people end up like the ones who raised them? Of course, like always, there are exceptions. But many studies have shown that a child will only go as far in their education as their parents, unless directed otherwise.

We tend to think that outside factors or the things we experience in life are the 'causes' and that these causes dictate how we feel, act, and view the world around.

This can be a vicious cycle if you ask me!

If you rely on outward circumstances to dictate your mood and happiness in life, then it is all left up to chance, and most likely, we develop more and more negative things in life because we tend to give most thought and attention to negative circumstances.

INSTEAD: lets look at it this way-->the brain and our thoughts are the "causes" and the outside conditions that occur are the "effects." Now, it has not been my experience to think about a million bucks and then all of a sudden BAM there it is. But...

...creating a pattern of positive thought in our minds will cause the effects in our lives, or the outcomes, to generally be of a more positive nature. As long as we don't allow external conditions to get in the way of our feeling good, we can generate good feelings from within, and then the world without will express and manifest circumstances, events, people, and things that will match up with the way we are feeling inside on a more regular basis.

"For instance, a man is in debt. He will be continually thinking about the debt, concentrating on it, and as thoughts are causes te result is that e not only fastens the debt closer to him, but actually creates more debt. He is putting the great law of Attraction into operation with the usual and inevitable result--Loss leads to greater loss."

Concentrate on those things you want and desire in life and shift your focus to the things/people/circumstances you have and be grateful for them!
